Life Science Consultant, PMO Management
Location : Baarle-Nassau, Netherlands
We are a consultancy firm with a focus in the life science industry, dedicated to providing custom solutions to pharmaceutical companies worldwide. We are currently seeking a PMO Management Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis, to support our client, a global pharmaceutical company.
Key Responsibilities :
As a PMO Management Consultant, you will lead the organization of the US Production Plant Startup Program, focusing on communication, organization, and management of projects impacting the program. Your main responsibilities will include :
Communication : Establish and maintain effective communication channels with IT, OT, and Business Project Managers Take ownership of daily communication digest, providing stakeholders with status updates on milestones, activities, blockers, actions, and escalations Devise appropriate communication channels for the Leadership Team Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery of project dependencies Develop and implement an escalation processOrganization Monitor program progress and set deadlines Transition from firefighting in the specific project Milestone to structured reporting, supporting informed decision-making for subsequent program milestones Develop tools and systems for mapping complexity and anticipating interdependencies and risksManagement :Provide a transversal vision of all projects associated with the US site program, aligned with strategic objectives set by the management teamImprove project success capacities by implementing or strengthening working methods or proceduresBuild PMO tools and dashboards to provide an overview of activity progress and status for stakeholders and support leadership team decision-makingMinimum Qualification and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.Language
English - Fluent written & spokenWork experience
Proven experience in project management and PMO roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life science industryHard Skills
Proficiency in project management tools and softwareExcellent organizational, problem solving and critical-thinking skillsSoft Skills
