Warehouse Team Leader (f / m / d)

The warehouse team leader is expected to perform tasks to assist in achieving the business objectives of on-time and line filling by completing the shipment preparation of finished product orders for domestic and international customers. In addition, they are also responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked, confirmed, and delivered at the end of each shift. They must provide training and direction to all employees on the picking line and international shipping areas, as well as ensure that all processes and procedures outlined by the Site Manager are followed.

Essential Functions :

  • Supervise the employees at the picking line and international shipping to ensure that they are following the policies and procedures outlined by management
  • Ensure that the outbound picking area is staffed with sufficient resources
  • Pick customer orders as required to fulfill 100% on-time shipments
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient working area for shipping
  • Ensure that all orders are picked and completed at the end of each shift
  • Collaborate with internal customers on a daily basis when communicating status / shipments as requested
  • Create Transfer Orders to Release Shipments of Materials and Products Using the SAP System
  • Monitor and assist with all outbound operations, including international shipping
  • Train employees in all necessary outbound roles as needed
  • Maintain proper housekeeping as required by 6S practices
  • Use CRM to Investigate Distribution Shipping Errors
  • Assist the Site Manager in troubleshooting and process improvements
  • Have responsibility for daily reports, as agreed with your manager in advance
  • Comply with governmental and corporate policies, procedures, and regulations

Your profile :

  • High school is a minimum, MBO preferred
  • A minimum of two years of comparable work experience and one year of supervisory experience
  • Able to establish and follow safety rules and procedures
  • Strong understanding of advanced warehousing transactions ideally in SAP
  • Solid knowledge of basic PC packages such as MS Word and Excel
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pay attention to details, able to work organized
  • Solid problem-solving skills
