Our client is in search of a highlyqualified and driven Integration Engineer Interior, with a focus onjoinery for accommodation and technical spaces. In this pivotalrole, you will be instrumental in the effective subcontracting anddetailed engineering of joinery systems for our naval vessels. Yourknowledge will facilitate the conversion of design concepts intoaccurate technical specifications, guide engineering processes, andensure adherence to rigorous qualitystandards.

PrimaryResponsibilities :

As an Integration Engineer Interior,your main duties will involve :

Formulatingfunctional technical specifications for suppliers andsubcontractors based on both customer and designrequirements.
Developing comprehensive technicalspecifications for joinery work, aligned with industry regulationsand standards.
Partnering with procurement and supplychain teams to identify suitable materials and vendors foraccommodation joinery and insulation.
Assisting withquality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to confirm thatcompleted joinery meets the necessary standards.
Offering technical support and direction to the production team,addressing any challenges that may arise during the project.
Keeping thorough documentation of joinery specifications,modifications, and project developments.
Collaboratingwith various engineering disciplines to ensure the seamlessintegration of joinery with other ship systems.
Staying informed about industry advancements and best practices injoinery, and applying them to relevantprojects.

Qualifications and Skills : To thrive asan Integration Engineer Interior, you should have the followingqualifications and qualities :

A Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture,Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relatedfield.

Demonstratedexperience as a Technical Specification Engineer or in a similarcapacity, specifically focused on joinery in the maritimesector.

Comprehensiveknowledge of joinery materials, methods, and industrystandards.

Proficiency in CADsoftware for creating technical drawings andspecifications.

Stronganalytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a talent forinterpreting complex engineering data.

Excellent communication skills, with the abilityto collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinaryteam.

A keen attention todetail and a dedication to producing high-qualitywork.

Familiarity with theconstruction processes and regulations pertaining to naval vesselsis advantageous.

Fluency inEnglish, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is a notableadvantage.

Referenceverification will be conducted as part of the standardpre-employment security screening process.
