Job Title : Lead / Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Location : South Holland, Netherlands

Employment type : Full-time

Job Overview :

CloudScaler, recruitment partners for a leading engineering firm, is seeking a highly experienced Instrumentation Lead Engineer to join an innovative and fast-paced team. The successful candidate will take a leading role in delivering high-quality instrumentation and telecommunication engineering solutions for complex greenfield and offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team of instrumentation engineers and designers in detailed engineering projects.
  • Manage the preparation and review of technical specifications, TBE, and participation in FAT for :
  • SCADA / DCS systems.
  • Telecommunication systems such as CCTV, PAGA, radio systems, LAN, and WiFi.
  • Fire and Gas detection systems.
  • Develop detailed design deliverables, including :
  • Cable lists.
  • Block diagrams for instrumentation, telecom, and fire detection systems.
  • Layouts for instrumentation, telecom, and fire detection systems.
  • Termination diagrams, hookup diagrams, and mounting details.
  • Loop diagrams.
  • Prepare high-level engineering deliverables such as :
  • Cause-and-effect diagrams.
  • Control narratives.
  • Network architecture diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an engineering company.
  • At least 4 years in a leadership role in instrumentation engineering.
  • Experience in greenfield automation and telecommunication detailed engineering.
  • Familiarity with offshore platform design and HV substation design (preferred).
  • Expertise in Smart Plant Instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with E3D software (desirable).
  • Proven ability to create engineering deliverables such as detailed instrumentation designs, block diagrams, and network architecture diagrams.
