Wat ga je doen?

Your responsibilities will be to :

Design and implement data platform solutions on Azure cloud using tools like Azure ADLS, Azure Databricks, ADF, and Terraform.
Configure and optimize cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data platform solutions to ensure optimal performance and availa-bility.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud com-puting.
Contribute to the organization's digital transformation journey.

Regarding cloud Infrastructure Implementation :

Deploy and configure virtual machines, containers, serverless resources, and networking components in Azure.

Implement security measures, access controls, and compliance requirements in the cloud en-vironment.

Regarding Automation and Orchestration :

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like ARM templates, Terraform.

Automate deployment processes, resource provisioning, and configuration management.

Regarding Monitoring and Performance Optimization :

Set up monitoring and alerting for Azure resources to ensure optimal performance and avail-ability.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, resource utilization issues, and scalability chal-lenges

Regarding Security and Compliance :

Implement security best practices, identity management, and data protection mechanisms

Stay up to date with Azure security features and industry compliance standards

Wat je meebrengt

You are a passionate data engineer with a strong background in Azure cloud services, and you have the right mindset to always keep learning and improving. You are a real team player with a hands-on attitude and flexibility to deal with changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

You have :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

3+ years of experience in data engineering or related field

Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure services, virtual networks, storage solutions, and security mechanisms

Strong experience in designing and building data platform solutions on Azure cloud using tools like Azure ADLS, Azure Databricks, ADF and Terraform

Good to have : Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, Az-ure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer are preferred

Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes

Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and / or Spark

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

You will work in the Data factory platform team within the Risk domain of NN Bank. You will work closely together and provide data platform services to :

The data factory which is the central DWH for formal reporting in the bank

The FRT lake in which contains Treasury, WoonNu mortgages & general finance & risk sources

Model factory that provides a platform for model development (ML)

Calm / PX that run vendor applications on Azure cloud and Kubernetes

You will be the bridge between NN Group-IT and above-mentioned teams and will work on cost saving measures and bringing in more standardization. You will also work closely together with security and non-financial risk teams to ensure the infrastructure is secure and compliant to regulation. You bring more automation in this area for regular monitoring of the platform. Finally, you will work closely together with the central platform teams within that pro-vide generic services like CDAAS & NN Data Analytics platform.

You will be part of the data engineering guild where you can meet, learn from and collaborate with data engineers across many departments of NN-Group.
