Lead Process Engineer Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers.

Develop and implement a departmental structure, roles, and responsibilities to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Own the overall design of the plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Provide technical leadership in process design, equipment selection, and systems integration, ensuring adherence to best practices in process industry.

Lead end-to-end project management for major capital projects, from conceptual design through execution and start-up.

Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining alignment with business needs.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects, including technical, safety, and regulatory risks.

Ensure all projects comply with industry safety standards, environmental regulations, and company-specific requirements.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering
• 15+ years of working experience in (chemical) production environment, of which the last 5 years in a lead role.
• You are based in Netherlands.
