What are we looking for?

You work as a Waiter for different F&B outlets; banqueting, restaurant, room service and bar Timeless.

In our contemporary restaurant we serve our guests breakfast, lunch and dinner. With over 90 seats in the restaurant, bar, life-cooking, we offer our guests hospitality at any time of the day. As an "Employee Service, Bar and Banqueting" you and your colleagues take care of the attention of our guests. Within the department there is enough room for your creativity. Problems are an opportunity for improvement for you and that is why you also think in terms of solutions.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Serving food & beverages to our guests
  • Taking orders and providing information
  • Self-preparation of simple orders of drinks and / or small dishes / snacks
  • Taking care of mise-en-place, setting / preparing tables, etc.
  • Recording transactions in the system and settling bills
  • Keeping the F&B outlets and workspaces clean and organized (e.g. clearing and cleaning tables)

  • Are guest oriented and like contact with the guests. We aim to provide excellent guest service

  • Can communicate in English and preferably Dutch (any additional language is a plus)

    4-sterren hotel met 142 luxe kamers, een restaurant met 92 couvert, gezellige bar en een congrescentrum voor 2-200 gasten.

    Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre is een luxe hotel dat door zijn centrale ligging ideaal is voor zowel een zakelijk bezoek als een toeristisch verblijf. De binnenstad en het centraal station zijn op loopafstand.​ Het hotel heeft een splinternieuw restaurant "Clockwise" met een a la carte menukaart welke met de seizoenen meegaat. Daarnaast serveert het hotel een glas wijn of vers getapt glas bier in de sfeervolle bar "Timeless".
