In this role, you will be responsible for introducing, maintaining, and improving the assembly and manufacturing processes. As a specialist in both product and process, you will be the go-to person for technical matters both internally and externally.

  • Leading, executing, and reporting on Process Flow + FMEA within NPI projects
  • Assessing Technical Product Documentation (TPD) for assembly time (pre-calculation), manufacturability, and risks (FMEA)
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiency within and outside your department (implementing improvement projects and procedures)
  • Actively maintaining customer and supplier relationships
  • Taking full responsibility for the guidance, execution, and reporting of TPD reviews for all new and revised products
  • Leading improvement projects as a driving force
  • Owning the product and process technically, acting as an advisory expert across the organization, and disseminating knowledge and best practices
  • Working closely with (Senior) Quality Engineers to promote a Zero Defects mindset and focusing on a "First Time Right" approach
  • Implementing new assembly methods in production
  • Regularly and proactively coordinating with customers on ongoing and new developments
  • Taking the initiative to engage with suppliers on process and product improvements

Functie-eisen

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a high-tech production environment with complex assembly processes
  • Strong proficiency in relevant methodologies of (statistical) data analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • A proactive mindset with a constant focus on quality and optimization of the assembly process
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken

    A competitive salary of € 3.800,00 – € 5.500,00, depending on knowledge and experience
