What does the job entail?
In this challenging position you bear principal responsibility for the sales on an important growth market for Jobe Sports International; West of Spain.
Your objectives for the next few years are clear : maintain the relationship with the existing dealers and expand the dealer network in the West of Spain in the watersport market. Your other main responsibilities are to intensively apply B2B marketing to (potential) dealers, doing a thorough analyze of the market and competitors, decorate the stores in Jobe’s Brandcode style, stimulate sell-through and optimize our sales tools.
Based on your knowledge, experience and thorough market research, you decide the strategy to realize these objectives. You are not afraid to assume this responsibility, because you are convinced of your own abilities and you are prepared to do anything to realize your objectives. You have a network that can help you with this, or you are able to build up a network fast.
With your proactive attitude you focus on the product, the market and the competition and cleverly know how to anticipate this. As you know exactly what the market needs, we expect you to come up with ideas for product development and marketing.
You actively approach (potential) buyers and you build up a permanent relationship with them in order to safeguard your objectives. Agreements are made with (potential) buyers and you schedule your courses as efficiently as possible. You are always able to find the right balance between the various duties, taking time investments, yields and the client's wishes into account. Considering all this you know when you can settle a situation by yourself or when a manager or colleague should be involved. Thinking of innovations and improvements is a natural habit for you. You share opportunities you see and other important information with the sales manager.
