Senior Process Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in offshore projects within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency and practical know-how to deliver optimized, efficient solutions for complex offshore operations.

Location : South Holland

Duration : 12-month renewable contract

Start Date : ASAP

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, review, and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure accurate process designs.
  • Conduct compressor and blowdown studies to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
  • Perform sizing calculations for pipelines, valves, control systems, and other process equipment to support project requirements.
  • Utilize process simulation software (Hysys, Unisim) for modeling and optimizing processes.
  • Apply thermal design software like HTRI for heat exchanger design and analysis.
  • Work with AutoCAD to design, modify, and review layouts and schematics.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and safety regulations.
  • Lead process safety studies, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 y ears of process engineering experience, with at least 8  years in the Oil & Gas industry , specifically in offshore projects .
  • Proficiency with Hysys, Unisim, HTRI, and AutoCAD software.
  • Extensive experience in compressor and blowdown studies , P&ID development , and sizing calculations .
  • Strong knowledge of O&G industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
