Project Manager Vacatures in Netherlands

Our client an established international company specialising in oil and water separation and waste-water treatment solutions. With many years of experience, our client has developed a strong global reputation for delivering innovative technologies of raw materials from industrial waste outlets. Head-quartered in the Netherlands, the organisation provides turnkey project solutions to clients around the world, with a strong focus on sustainability and technological innovation. The company has also expanded into designing and renting water treatment systems for developing countries, providing communities with access to clean water.

On their behalf we are currently looking for a project manager to be based in the Netherlands office, who will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex B2B projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality standards. In this role, you will manage the full life-cycle of projects from the design phase through to final delivery. Your responsibilities will include coordinating procurement processes, preparing requests for proposals, working with suppliers, and supporting negotiations. Working closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure that project objectives are aligned with client expectations.

The role also involves monitoring project execution, including inspections, testing procedures, and compliance with quality standards and regulations. Identifying potential risks and developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery. In addition, you will also oversee the preparation and management of operational and maintenance documentation and contribute to improving internal procedures by incorporating lessons learned from completed projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a similar and related field. Have at least five years experience managing projects, preferably within oil and gas, waste-water treatment, or a similar technical industry. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and project planning tools. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Dutch would be considered an advantage. The successful candidate will demonstrate a structured, hands-on, and flexible approach to managing projects.
