Engineering manager distributed data systems Vacatures in The Hague

We are looking for a Senior PAS Engineer based in Rijswijk. Your broad experience is within the process industry like Chemical, Oil & Gas, Terminals, Power or adjacent areas in the process systems business.

You will be responsible for the application design and development of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) in the process industry. As a Senior PAS Engineer you are performing project activities in house or at the customer site. This includes design, configuration, test, commission and document (complex) configurations and applications in Emerson's Process Automation Systems according to the agreed planning and functional requirements.

In this role your responsibilities will be

• Lead of a technical team of engineers within a project
• Responsible for technical quality and progress of a project
• Assist Project Manager by monitoring budget and planning and as technical lead in customer meetings
• Coordinate and support the implementation activities of the local and BCEC project team (remotely located in Pune, India)
• Responsible to produce Functional Design Specification in close cooperation with our customers
• Produce Detailed Design Specification and test specification documents
• Implementation and testing of PAS configurations
• Assist in startup and commissioning activities of our customers
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals
• Give feedback to improve in the development of engineering / application standards and engineering tools
