Data Scientist (Operations Research)

Minimum Qualifications :

At least 4 years of professional experience in Operations Research within an enterprise or commercial environment.

Proficiency in Python especially in object-oriented programming and clean code principles.

Strong experience with at least one OR solver (preferably Gurobi or others such as CPLEX COIN-OR ).

Experience with writing and deploying REST APIs.

Strong SQL skills (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MSSQL).

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP or Azure).

Familiarity with CI / CD concepts Git Docker.

Proficiency with IDEs and debuggers (e.g. VS Code PyCharm).

Experience in developing and industrializing production-grade applications.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt style to various audiences.

Self-driven proactive and able to work independently.

Desirable Skills :

Experience with simulation modeling.

Familiarity with containerization and deployment pipelines.

Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g. Plotly Matplotlib Power BI).

Ability to justify design and implementation choices following software engineering best practices.

Working knowledge of testing methodologies for APIs and business logic.
