Account Manager IT Solutions (Netherlands, Hybrid)

An opportunity has opened for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading specialist distributor. Based in Hoofddorp, this role focuses on managing and expanding a customer base across the Netherlands, working with some of the top IT companies in the region.

We are looking for a self-motivated, commercially driven professional with experience in IT solutions sales . This role offers the flexibility to take ownership of your accounts, providing value-added account management while introducing new technologies to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customers, developing long-term relationships
  • Identify and drive new sales opportunities through proactive engagement
  • Consult with senior stakeholders (CEO / CTO level) to align solutions with business needs
  • Develop strategic account plans and maintain an accurate sales pipeline
  • Work closely with pre-sales teams to generate and close new business
  • Ensure CRM records and sales forecasts are up to date
  • Meet or exceed revenue and margin targets
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and attend vendor / product training

Skills & Experience Required

  • Sales experience in IT solutions preferred
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex challenges
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
