The Analog / RF EMC & Interference department in our Design Enablement organization develops and integrates flows and methodologies for simulating the analog and RF circuits designed by our client worldwide. Additionally, we deploy the knowledge in our new designs by providing consultancy and support to the design teams.
The focus of this position is on electromagnetic simulation aspects and application, and of the electromagnetic interference analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI). The methodology and flow aspects are based on industrial commercial tooling of well-known EDA vendors in the market.
In this job you will assess and analyze the radiated / conducted emission of designs and systems (IP blocks in one die, package, and PCB, antennas and finally the full system). You will enable the prediction and mitigation of interferences between different subsystems and develop simulation methodologies investigating the impact of IC floorplan, on-chip isolation strategies, package and PCB layouts, antennas and performance of the complete system. You will work together with electromagnetic experts in the department, you will be part of the EMC and Interference team and be requested to contribute to other EM simulation, modeling and other interference areas.
