Interim HR Business Partner (Strategic & International Role) Amsterdam Hybrid June December 2025
We’re looking for a seasoned Interim HR Business Partner to support a leading global organization during a critical period of transformation.
This is a 6-month assignment based in Amsterdam , with regional responsibility across Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe .
Location : Amsterdam (Remote)
Duration : 6 months with potential extension
About the Role :
As part of the People Advisory team , you’ll act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing HR guidance during a time of organizational change.
This role requires a highly capable, hands-on HR professional who can operate confidently in a complex, fast-moving, and international environment.
You’ll help drive business performance, lead HR transformation initiatives, and ensure that operational HR needs are met while supporting long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic HR Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the Local Partner Services (LPS) division.
- Influence organizational strategy on topics such as workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.
- Align HR strategies with business objectives across multiple countries.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Coach senior leadership on HR and talent issues.
- Support succession planning and leadership transitions.
- Embed organizational values and leadership expectations across regions.
Change Management
- Lead people-focused change initiatives tied to business transformation.
- Develop and execute engagement and communication plans to drive adoption.
- Help teams navigate organizational shifts with clarity and confidence.
Data-Driven HR Strategy
- Use people analytics and HR metrics to guide decision-making.
- Support planning cycles with actionable HR insights.
HR Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure adherence to local and international employment laws.
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases in line with global best practices.
MUST HAVES :
- 3 5 years of HR Business Partner experience in a strategic role within an international company (prefer commercial teams / organizations)
- Proven success operating in a complex, matrixed, and global business environment .
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, European labor laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and support business transformation.
- Tech-savvy, proactive, and data-driven mindset.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
