Currently we are looking for a software developer to join the team of bikefitting.com in Valkenburg. As our software developer you will support the system/product development of bikefitting.com products and you will provide direct and indirect support to our customers. You will be part of an international bikefitting team based in Valkenburg. We are looking for someone with a strong background in software engineering and who is willing to become our IT expert.

The Challenge

• Gather internal and external customer requirements and perform system analysis.

• Carry out andco-ordinatesystem design,implementationand functional testing for our different software applications.

• Ensure quality and sustainability of our existing software by debugging,changingor adding features.

• Document every aspect of the application or systeminall stages of the system life cycle.

• Perform server management,maintenanceand backup.

• Contribute to data management systems and data analysis.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering / computer science.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
• Experience with working in a (remote) team.
• Affinity with cycling is considered a plus.
• You will achieve this by taking initiatives and by being autonomous, while still being open to input from others.
• You are customer oriented and you have the right combination of technical knowledge and soft skills.
• You will use this to work towards common goals with our in-house product development team and with our external software development partners.
• Your ability to be analytical and critical combined with your effectiveness to achieve targets in various activities will drive you to success within this job.
