Key focus areas encompass overseeing the datacenter network featuring Check Point firewalls, F5 load balancers, and Aruba CX switching, as well as managing Internet / WAN, Remote Access VPN, and cloud networks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead internal network projects from a technical standpoint.
  • Devise roadmaps and plans to ensure network security and future readiness.
  • Enhance and maintain the network environment with a strong emphasis on security and end-user experience.
  • Safeguard Vanderlande's interests in negotiations and collaborations with peers.
  • Assist stakeholders in finding solutions for specific business use cases.
  • Develop and maintain high- and low-level designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Escalate problems to vendors when necessary.
  • Automate tasks and implement improvements.

Key Activities :

  • Ensure network availability and performance through monitoring and analysis.
  • Create network designs based on workflow, access, information, and security requirements.
  • Execute (complex) changes.
  • Document and share knowledge with first- and second-line support engineers and other departments.

    • Technologies in Scope :

  • Check Point (MDM, firewalls).
  • Internet & WAN (IPSec VPN & BGP).
  • Network Load Balancers (F5).
  • Aruba CX routing and switching (Aruba Central, BGP-EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF).
  • Cloud networking.
  • Automation (AWX Ansible, Python, PowerShell).

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or equivalent.
  • Previous or active employment in the Netherlands.
  • Proficient communication and influencing skills.
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT networking.
  • Proven networking knowledge & skills (CCNP level or higher).
  • Experience acting between business and service organizations in global telecom companies.
  • Experience within a global organization.
