Assistant Controller

What are you going to do?

At the moment we are busy implementing new ERP and Exact software to make Ventura future-proof. As Assistant Controller you can contribute to this professionalization and play an important role. The work is not limited to our office in Bolsward, because as a department we work a lot with our branches in America, Germany, Hong Kong and Australia. This provides a lot of variety. A number of tasks and responsibilities that come with it are:

• Ensuring reliable administration and budgeting
• Carrying out checks and providing correct, reliable information, taking into account (tax) legislation and regulations
• Prepare reports on the financial data

Who are you?

You are critical when necessary and have a healthy dose of perseverance. You are a reliable link with an analytical attitude and have a sharp eye for financial costs and see opportunities. As a true self-starter, you like to take the initiative and you stand firmly in your shoes.

• HBO Business Administration, Business Administration or Accountancy
• Work experience from a similar position within an SME or an accountancy firm. You are ready for more challenge and responsibility within your field
• Experience in an international environment is a bonus but not a requirement
