About the role

We’re looking for a versatile freelance graphic designer who will be the go-to person for all brand expressions of High Tech Campus Eindhoven, both online and offline. You’ll work closely with the Marketing & Communications team (MarCom), translate ideas into high-quality assets, and ensure brand consistency throughout the organization.

What you will do

• Be the main design contact for all teams within HTC Site Management, with a focus on marketing and communications, but supporting the entire organization with visual communication that informs, activates, and inspires.
• Design a wide range of assets, from campaign visuals, event branding, social media content, and whitepapers to signage, print materials, merchandise, and slide decks.
• Build and maintain Figma component libraries and templates to keep our designs consistent and easy to use.
• Shape formats, templates, libraries, and guidelines for quality and efficiency, in close alignment with the MarCom team.
• Advise on materials, finishes, and production techniques; coordinate with suppliers and manage print/sign proofs.
• Safeguard and evolve our brand guidelines; ensure visual consistency across all channels.
• Feed the team with current design best practices and proactive ideas to raise the creative bar.

Who you are

• Strong portfolio across both digital and physical design; comfortable taking projects from concept to production.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Solid grasp of layout, typography, accessibility, and asset delivery for web, social, print, and large-format.
• Experience collaborating with printers, signmakers, and merchandise suppliers; preferably with a relevant vendor network.
• Clear communicator who can scope, prioritize, and work independently with stakeholders across the organization.
• Experienced in motion design, you can create and edit simple animations, transitions, and short motion pieces that bring our brand to life.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus, as well as experience in innovation or tech contexts.
• Flexible in weekly hours; available one (fixed) day per week on site at High Tech Campus Eindhoven.

Practical information

Start date by agreement (preferably from mid-January 2026). This is a freelance/ZZP assignment with flexible weekly hours (with one fixed on-site day). This assignment is initially for 6–12 months, with the intention to extend if the collaboration is successful.We welcome applications from designers who recognize themselves in most of the profile, even if you don’t tick every box.
