Technical Application Manager
Location : Hybrid – Utrecht, Netherlands
We’re looking for a Technical Application Manager on behalf of an innovative SaaS company operating within the pension industry. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the technical management, execution, and further development of complex application platforms that drive the digital transformation of the sector.
About the Role
As a Technical Application Manager, you’ll ensure the operational performance of multiple applications within a dynamic IT environment. The focus is on maintaining technical stability, optimising processes, and implementing new releases and features.
Responsibilities
- Technical Management : Day-to-day administration of applications, including incident resolution and configuration changes on platforms like OutSystems, Microsoft Dynamics, and Azure.
- Incident and Problem Management : First point of contact for technical issues, responsible for coordinating long-term solutions.
- Optimisation : Continuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
- Release Management : Prepare and execute software releases, including testing and monitoring implementation.
- Configuration and Installation : Install and configure updates, patches, and new components within the technical environment.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing : Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

HBO-level education (Bachelor’s level), preferably in an IT-related fieldExperience with OutSystems or willingness to be trained in itKnowledge of and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365Familiar with Microsoft Azure (e.g. managing VMs, databases, APIs, Azure Functions)Knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, and API integrationsExperience with Azure DevOps is a plusStructured work style with attention to documentation and process automationWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation outside office hoursProactive and customer-oriented attitude with a focus on quality and continuous improvementTo apply for this position, please submit the most recent version of your CV.
