Operator at Chromalloy in Tilburg

Chromalloy is an international technology business, specialized in innovative gas turbine engine solutions. Chromalloy delivers solutions designed to reduce manufacturing and expenses, and to extend the life of engines, for original equipment manufacturers, commercial airlines, militaries, and oil, gas and power companies.

As an Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out operations independently within the schedule, usually with the assistance of several people. The operator's work includes three processes such as :

1. Preparation : Observing applicable internal and external regulations, reading drawings and preparing documentation, visual inspection of the part to be machined, selecting and modifying the machining programmes and / or process.

2. Performance : Clamping or unclamping the fixture / part and possibly unclamping it, setting up and operating machines, checking progress and adjusting the machine / process, and checking dimensions using approved measuring tools.

3. Other activities : Identifying and resolving process / production problems, including reporting, assisting engineering in setting up new processes and working methods, minor preventive maintenance.

You will work two shifts from Monday to Friday, the morning shift from 07 : 00 to 15 : 00 and the afternoon shift from 15 : 00 to 23 : 00. In total, you will work approximately 40 hours per week.

On the first days, you will get an introduction, safety instructions and training to get to know the company and activities.
