This SaaS company, located in Amsterdam, was founded in 2023 and currently employs a team of 15 tight-knit professionals, including developers, testers, and designers. They specialize in software products (platforms) with an innovative view on consumer finance and financial leasing designed to transform the customer experience while improving operational efficiency and business performance.

About the vacancy

For the headquarters in the Amsterdam area, we are currently looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst who will play a key role in the ongoing development and optimization of their SaaS applications. At the moment, the most important aspect of this role involves writing user stories and translating business requirements to the developers. It is, therefore, essential that you have experience as a link between the business and technical teams. This means that the position consists of 50% analysis and 50% automation. Currently, the Product Owner performs all this work, so in your role, you will support and help the PO with these tasks. Besides the Product Owner, you will work with five developers and four Customer Success Managers in a Scrum / Agile environment

Your responsibilities within the role

Product & Requirement Analysis

  • Gather, draft, and refine requirements in the form of user stories with associated test scripts and / or automated test configurations
  • Maintain amortization schedule and loan balance calculations, as well as affordability calculations for Consumer Finance (VFn) and Private Lease (KPL)
  • Work closely with Developers in planning and refinement sessions to clarify and enhance user stories
  • Work with the Product Owner to prioritize user stories

Testing & Quality Assur

  • anceMaintain and improve automated testing using the local Playground.
  • Ensure automated tests run correctly and provide sufficient coverage for regression testing.
  • Identify and drive the development of new features for the Playground to improve test automation efficiency.
  • Organize and assist in testing new releases
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to validate new releases, ensuring they meet customer expectations and quality standards

    • Release & Documentation Management

  • Organize internal release planning and demo sessions.
  • Create release notes and release videos to communicate updates effectively.
  • Update and maintain product documentation for Onboard & Contracts

    • We are looking for you if you :

  • Are fluent in Dutch and English
  • Have 5+ years of relevant experience in product analysis, testing, and / or related fields.
  • Possess a higher professional education (HBO) or university-level degree.
  • Preferred : Knowledge of Consumer Finance, Automotive Leasing, and / or other Financial Products, such as Mortgages.
  • Preferred : Experience with Microsoft DevOps.
  • Preferred : Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
