The role of the Gas Safety Architect involves translating the comprehensive gas safety system requirements into an architecture that meets these criteria. Do you have experience in Gas Safety engineering?
Functieomschrijving
As a Gas Safety Architect, you'll translate top-level safety requirements into specific ones for different users in the system. You'll communicate with and, when necessary, negotiate between responsible functional teams. These teams ensure that the designs meet the Gas Safety Architects' requirements, and you'll review them to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Another key aspect is bringing the system into operation with all specified safety functions, requiring gas safety verification tests during the specification phase. Additionally, you'll align end-users, both within ASML factories and at customer sites, on design changes.
- Understand the function of media for end-users within the lithography tool.
- Conduct analyses and calculations to predict architecture or subsystem functionality (risk assessments, safety levels).
- Develop group competence as necessary through literature research, experimental testing, or supervision of external research partners.
- Negotiate, define, document, and present architecture or subsystem specifications.
- Translate specifications to generate a safety system, including electronics and software, and guide during the detailed design process.
- Ensure functional integration of the safety architecture into the system or subsystem, proving, documenting, and presenting its proper functioning using offline and/or machine tests.
- Troubleshoot issues related to the safety architecture on the system or subsystem.
- Effectively communicate Gas Safety knowledge and requirements to a wider audience.

- Support Gas Safety release.
- Translate Gas Safety requirements to module requirements.
- Support customer escalations.
- Support integration activities/tests.
- Create and deliver Gas safety documentation.
- Guide others to meet Gas Safety requirements or adherence.

- 5+ years of experience in a Gas Safety role.
- Bachelor or Masters degree
