About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java & React Developer to join a forward-thinking government organization that plays a key role in the digital transformation of the public sector. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working on complex systems that directly impact public services across the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, and analysts.
Work within a CI / CD pipeline and Agile / Scrum environment.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot .

Strong hands-on experience with React.js .

Experience with RESTful APIs, Docker, Git, and CI / CD pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

Comfortable working in Dutch or English-speaking environments.

Experience in government or enterprise IT environments is a plus.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.

Understanding of security and privacy standards in public-sector IT systems.

Familiarity with accessibility standards and testing frameworks.
