Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing Functional Consultant to join our Utilities team. The ideal candidate should have deep domain expertise in utilities billing processes, strong hands-on configuration skills, and experience working across end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations and support projects.

This role will involve designing, configuring, and supporting complex billing scenarios, as well as integrating with other SAP modules like FICA and CRM.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP IS-U Billing components including :
• Rate categories, rate types, operands
• Schemas, rate maintenance, calculation rules
• Time-of-use billing, dynamic pricing models
• Billing classes, division-specific billing
• Manage billing execution and invoicing processes , including mass processing, automation, and performance tuning .
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications , and support unit testing, UAT, and go-live .
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement enhancements and customizations (user exits, BAPIs, BADIs).
• Troubleshoot billing issues and provide detailed root cause analysis and resolutions .
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., FICA, Device Management, CRM-ISU, SD / MM).
• Participate in Agile / Scrum or traditional SDLC delivery frameworks.
• Support regulatory reporting and market communication processes as needed.
