About the role

The role of the People Operations Manager at Albelli-Photobox Group is a critical and multifaceted position that involves strategic leadership, team management, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

In this role you will spearhead the design and development of our People Operations team and strategy, as well as leading a dynamic team of people officers who provide comprehensive end-to-end HR support to our employees across six countries.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Directly manage a team of People Operations professionals across 6 countries.
  • Oversee and guide your team in areas including, administration, mobility, payroll, and data analytics.
  • Play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of a Shared Services model by centralizing People Operations
  • Ensure compliance with employment and internal regulations, conducting audits, and enhancing operational efficiency through clear service definitions and effective team management.
  • Drive improvements in People policies and processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other People Centers of Excellence (CoEs) such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Tooling, as well as with IT and Finance.
  • Lead or support HR projects, including HRIS and related tools implementation, Global Payroll, Pay review cycle, etc.
  • Oversee HR Supplier management, HR metrics and reporting, and support on Budget HR management.

  • Direct and professionally develop a team of People Operations professionals.
  • Guide key functions like administration, mobility, payroll, and data analytics.
  • Spearhead Shared Services adoption, centralizing activities under Workday for enhanced efficiency.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through audits, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, lead transformative HR projects, and manage supplier relationships.

Experience and attributes we’d like to see :

  • Demonstrable experience leading People Operations teams in an international, matrixed company.
  • Previous experience working across European countries, ideally with in-depth knowledge of local labor laws in countries the Netherlands, UK, Germany, Spain, and France.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong managerial skills with a positive and engaging leadership approach.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively partner with senior HR management.
  • Highly proficient with HRIS Systems, Workday is advantageous; experience with other mid-large scale HRIS (PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors, etc.) is acceptable.

Nice to have experience :

  • Experience in a consulting role for the development of People / HR shared services in mid-sized companies is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with organizations operating under Collective Labor Agreements is an advantage.
  • Experience managing Payroll teams across European countries is advantageous.
