We are looking for a dynamic, curious and entrepreneurial Assistant Brand Manager FMCG in Rotterdam (hybrid, 40 hours) to join our client fast‑growing B2B Home Care business. In this role, you will help shape operator‑centric innovation and manage the full Professional Dishwash portfolio across Europe. The role
- Build deep operator understanding by turning sharp insights into solutions that directly address real‑world needs and pain points.
- Support the Professional Dishwash platform and ensure all innovation and renovation projects land on time, in full, and with excellence.
- Co‑develop a multi‑year innovation pipeline with CMI, R&D and Supply Chain, shaping a clear roadmap across core and core+ portfolios.
- Drive best‑in‑class innovation processes, ensuring strong documentation, tracking and timely updates at all decision gates.
- Create compelling trade and operator narratives that bring together insights, benefits and claims to support impactful sell‑in and activation.
- Partner with R&D and Legal to define product propositions and claims, and collaborate with Digital and E‑commerce teams to build strong assets for online and offline channels.
- Bring a “start‑up” mindset—embracing agility, experimentation and operator‑back thinking to deliver faster, more relevant solutions.
- Manage project budgets with accuracy, discipline and transparency.

2–5 years’ experience in marketing or innovation experience, ideally within FMCG. Experience in B2B is a plus.Innovation & Portfolio Mindset : Demonstrates a passion for creating operator‑centric solutions, shaping innovation pipelines, and driving portfolio performance. Able to combine insight, creativity and business logic to bring meaningful innovation to market.Operator & Insight Centricity : Strong ability to understand operator needs, pain points, and decision drivers, and to turn insights into actionable innovation ideas, claims, and value propositions.Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills : Capable of assessing market trends, portfolio gaps, and performance data to inform innovation choices and build a robust multi‑year roadmap.Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Confident working with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, Digital, and local markets. Able to influence and align stakeholders across geographies, functions, and seniority levels.Innovation Process & Project Management : Comfortable navigating end‑to‑end innovation processes (from brief to gate stages), managing complexity, and delivering projects on time and in full through strong planning and prioritization.Budget Management : Experience planning, tracking, and managing project budgets with discipline and accuracy.Ready to apply?
