I am looking for experienced Senior Azure Cloud Architects who are fluent in Dutch to join my client's team in the Netherlands. The primary working location is Amsterdam, where the company office is located in the heart of the city, but you can also work remotely from anywhere in the Netherlands. Travel to other places in the Netherlands or other European countries may be an option occasionally, depending on the assignment and your preferences. My client is a European leader in public cloud infrastructure solutions and cloud-native application services with offices around Europe including Helsinki (HQ), Stockholm, Oslo, London, Munich, Amsterdam, Poznań, Copenhagen, Vienna, Malmö, and Jyväskylä. They are an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Google Cloud Platform Strategic Partner and a Microsoft Gold Cloud Partner. As a Senior Azure Cloud Architect , you'll work on a variety of customer projects, from building new infrastructure and migrations to audits and Big Data. The daily work can include everything from implementing a configuration management infrastructure to conducting workshops and design recommendations for a technical team. In addition, you will become a trusted advisor to well-known companies and manage customer relationships and roadmap together with the sales team. You will be: Driving client projects with cloud infrastructure, cloud migrations, or data- and AI-related services Advising on infrastructure design and configuration management Giving workshops and engaging customer projects from inception to release Becoming a trusted advisor for high-profile enterprises Managing the client relationship and the roadmap with Nordclouds sales team Occasional travelling in the Netherlands or Europe may be an option, depending on the assignment and your preferences You can expect: A variety of interesting projects in an exciting area: the cloud is one of the hot topics in the IT market of today. You have: Advanced experience with Cloud Architecture Design and Patterns including (Enterprise Scale) landing zones for development Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch Hands-on knowledge and experience of the Azure platform Experience in leading delivery engagements for enterprise clients and large organizations Solid engineering and technical background with experience in conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting cloud solutions Knowledge of security, network, virtualization, load balancing, storage, and databases Hands-on experience with building Infrastructure-as-Code (such as Terraform or Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines Container technologies experience (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift) Coding/scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar) Knowledge and experience around DevOps/DevSecOps and/or Platform Engineering
