Hey! We’re Filip Bricklayer – a close, family-style crew that’s been assembling steel structures for years in construction, industrial projects, and renovations. We’re growing and looking for a reliable steel fitter to join the team. What you’ll be doing: Erecting steel frameworks, staircases, platforms, handrails, balustrades, and flooring systems Assembling and connecting steel elements using bolted connections, welding (if needed), or other fixings Working from technical drawings, measurements, and foreman instructions Installing prefabricated steel parts, concrete elements, and cladding Working at height (using scaffolds, cherry pickers, or climbing safely) Assisting with lifting and rigging operations, ensuring safe crane use Making small adjustments and repairs to structures on site Keeping your work area safe, clean, and well-organised Collaborating with welders, groundworkers, carpenters, and the rest of the crew What we offer (straight up and fair): Competitive hourly rate based on your experience and how safely/quickly you work 30 vacation days + extra time off Good pension plan Travel allowance + possibility of a company van Yearly bonus when projects go smoothly Team outings (BBQs, casual drinks, whatever we all decide) We support training (VCA, working at height, rigging certs, new techniques) What we’re looking for: At least 1–2 years as a steel fitter, steel erector, or similar structural assembly work Experience with bolted connections and working from drawings You have (or are willing to get) VCA certification Driving licence B (BE or C is a plus) Comfortable and safety-aware working at height Flexible with sites around the country Decent English (Dutch is a bonus but not required) You take responsibility for safe, accurate work and appreciate some freedom to organise your day If this feels like a good team fit – people who trust each other, deliver solid results, and keep a healthy balance – just send your CV or a quick message about your background.
