PPHE Hotel Group operates a dynamic regional portfolio of hotels in the Netherlands, where the Groups, Meetings and Events team delivers seamless experiences across multiple properties. It is a fast-paced, collaborative environment offering exposure to both sales and operations.
As a Groups, Meetings and Events Sales Intern, you support the planning and coordination of group bookings, meetings, and events to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences. Your tasks include preparing proposals, updating systems, and assisting with event logistics while learning how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction.
This internship starts in August 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for 5 to 10 months, aligned with your study requirements.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings, group stays, and events
* Support the team with daily administrative tasks and client communication
* Manage event enquiries and assist with proposals and follow-ups
* Liaise with operational departments to ensure successful event execution
* Support the coordination of group bookings and event details across departments
* Maintain accurate records and systems related to bookings and events
* Contribute to a seamless and high-quality client experience
* Support event operations on site when required
Essential Requirements
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree programme, preferably in hotel, hospitality, or a related field
* Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
* Strong administrative and coordination skills
* Available for a full-time internship of up to 38 hours per week for at least 6 months
* You remain enrolled at your university for the full duration of the internship
* Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

* Previous experience or strong interest in hospitality, events, or customer service
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
* Attention to detail and a structured way of working
* Commercial awareness and interest in sales and event performance

We provide a monthly allowance starting from €550 , exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of travel and job-related expenses.
