Pre-Sales Engineer – Netherlands & Nordics



As part of the development of OVHcloud in the Netherlands and Nordics, we are currently looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to drive our sales growth.


Based in Amsterdam, you will be responsible for supporting sales teams by delivering a strong value proposition backed by in-depth technical knowledge, with the aim of expanding our business footprint across the Northern Europe region.

Reporting to the Strategic Deals Support Director, you are a key player in OVHcloud's international expansion and brand promotion. Dynamic, proactive, and passionate about both sales and IT, you work collaboratively within our team with the ultimate goal of ensuring customer satisfaction and technical excellence.


Your Main Responsibilities




  • Respond to RFQs in close collaboration with Sales Representatives.
  • Analyze customer needs to define technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Design relevant technical solutions by coordinating with internal technical teams.
  • Formalize RFQ response processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Support Large Account Sales Representatives during customer meetings to provide a strategic technical vision of the OVHcloud offering.
  • Address customer concerns and build trust through relevant, high-level technical arguments.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and product presentations to key decision-makers and end-users.
  • Ensure technological monitoring of market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Participate in trade fairs and conferences to enrich market knowledge and network.
  • Lend credibility to the company's offering by contributing field expertise to the development of new products or the improvement of existing ones.
  • Escalate use cases and share field experiences with product and marketing teams.




Your Future Impact


  • In 6 months: You will have integrated into the Northern Europe sales ecosystem, established strong relationships with the Amsterdam-based team, and taken ownership of your first major RFQ responses for the region.
  • In 1 year: You will have mastered the entire OVHcloud product portfolio, become a trusted technical advisor for our largest accounts in the Nordics, and significantly contributed to the region's revenue growth through innovative solution design.



Profile


  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable pre-sales or technical consultancy role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hosting and Cloud Computing solutions (IaaS, PaaS).
  • Solid understanding of sales techniques and complex B2B sales cycles.
  • Ability to build complex offerings tailored to specific industry requirements.
  • Natural curiosity and the ability to innovate to propose new business strategies.
  • Passion for new technologies and the fast-paced nature of dynamic markets.
  • Open and dynamic personality with a strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Autonomous and independent with excellent organizational skills.
  • Bilingual in English; proficiency in a 3rd language (Dutch or a Nordic language) is a significant asset.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
