Your Role
As a Validation & Maintenance Technician within the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) department you will be responsible for coordinating supervising and executing maintenance calibration and (re)qualification activities within an R&D and GMP case of equipment failures you will perform first-line troubleshooting and work closely with the equipment users and external service providers to resolve issues efficiently. You will also execute (re)qualification activities in a GMP setting requiring you to work with and prepare GMP addition you will represent the E&M department in investment and improvement projects.

You are able to structure your daily work effectively while remaining flexible and responsive to ad hoc situations. You have strong interpersonal skills enabling you to communication clearly with internal stakeholders and external service providers. With a pragmatic mindset you ensure maintenance activities are performed on time efficiently compliantly and to a high quality standard. You take initiative and proactively contribute to improving internal processes and documentation.
While experience in maintenance qualification and/or GMP environments is an advantage we also welcome candidates who strongly identify with the collaborative and communication aspects of this role.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform first line troubleshooting on defective equipment
- Execute (re)qualification activities
- Ensure service contracts are in place and up to date
- Maintain GMP compliance during maintenance and qualification activities
- Prepare and maintain GMP documentation (e.g. qualification reports maintenance records and deviations)
- Support E&M teams (Utilities and Equipment) with technical expertise and root cause analyses
Competencies:
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English both written and verbal
- Team player with a proactive and supportive attitude
- Structured proactive and capable of working independently
- Result-oriented and creative in problem-solving to meet deadlines
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify logical relationships and evaluate problems from different perspectives
- Accurate and detail-oriented especially in GMP documentation
- Familiarity with guidelines such as EudraLex and ISPE is an advantage
- Experience with qualification GMP environments and/or ITIL principles is a plus
Education
- A MBO or HBO degree with a preference in a technical / science related field.
