Your purpose:

Coordinate and monitor daily inbound and outbound logistics flows, in accordance with agreed logistics processes, ensuring they are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost‑efficient manner to safeguard the continuity of the supply chain process in cooperation with the stakeholders.

What will your challenges be?

_Supply Chain Coordination

• Ensures, together with the Warehouse Coordinator and the operational team of the external Logistics Service Provider, the effective planning, coordination, and monitoring of logistics flows in accordance with agreed service levels and project requirements, in order to safeguard continuity and reliability of the supply chain.
• Monitors LSP on required service levels and proactively communicating deviations and resolving disruptions in the supply chain.
• Provides daily operational management of the Warehouse Coordinator and oversees the external LSP team, aligns priorities and workloads, and ensures clear task allocation and execution.
• Ensures continuity of the Oceanco Logistics Hub and escalates risks and capacity constraints in a timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations and actively contributes to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Verifies that logistics documentation, including CMRs, Bills of Lading, packing lists, and customs declarations are maintained, and liaises with LSP & customs brokers to ensure compliance with import and export regulations.
• Ensures adherence to relevant legislation such as ADR, REACH, and customs regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Ensures safety by taking active ownership and taking personal responsibility for complying with, promoting, and improving safety, quality, and environmental regulations relevant to the role. This includes adhering to and (co-) enforcing procedures, company rules, and guidelines, timely identifying and reporting unsafe situations and deviations, and actively contributing to a safe, clean and responsible working environment onboard yachts, workshops, and yard in general for yourself and others

_Logistics & Warehouse Coordination

• Leads improvement initiatives within the warehouse and logistics operations together with the Warehouse Coordinator and LSP team, and identifies opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Actively contributes to cross-functional improvement initiatives and projects.
• Ensure accurate inventory administration, compliant warehouse operations, and the operational leadership of the Warehouse Coordinator and associated warehouse activities.
• Safeguards accurate stock levels and inventory records in the Warehouse & Transport Management System (SMRT) by LSP, applies FIFO/FEFO principles to minimize waste and optimize stock rotation, and ensures all warehouse operations comply with internal procedures, quality standards, and applicable safety regulations.
• Monitors the performance of internal and external resources, ensures adherence to agreed ways of working, and intervenes where necessary to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.

_Relations Management

• Maintains effective working relationships with logistics service providers in order to ensure reliable operational performance and prevent supply disruptions.
• Manages the daily operational performance of logistics service providers, suppliers, and carriers, including the external LSP team within the framework of agreed upon service levels and contract conditions, and acts as the primary operational point of contact.
• Evaluates supplier and carrier performance using KPIs, scorecards, and structured feedback sessions, addresses performance deviations, and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
• Contributes to negotiations and alignment on service agreements, performance expectations, and capacity planning, in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.

_Reporting

• Ensures timely and correct reporting to Manager Logistics based on set key performance indicators in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.
• Tracks, analyzes, and reports logistics KPIs to Manager Logistics.
  
  

What do we ask for?

• Fluent in English
• MBO degree (or higher) in relevant field
• 5 year’s proven relevant experience in similar roles, preferably within ship building/yacht building industry
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong competencies in Problem-solving, Collaboration, Planning & organizing, Result orientation
