We’re hiring: **HR Manager — PayPro Netherlands**
PayPro is looking for an HR Manager to join our team in the Netherlands.
This is a hands-on HR role for someone who enjoys building things properly — not just running HR admin, but making sure the local people processes are clear, compliant, and actually work for the business.
You will be the main HR contact for PayPro in the Netherlands, working closely with local management, Finance, Compliance, and the parent company HR team.
In this role, you will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, including:
- Managing our HR system, Factorial, and keeping employee records, reporting lines, approvals, leave records, and onboarding steps accurate and up to date
- Maintaining HR policies, templates, and documentation in line with local requirements and group standards
- Drafting and managing employment contracts in line with Dutch employment law
- Supporting GDPR/AVG requirements related to employee data
- Coordinating pre-employment checks, including VOG, references, and fit & proper checks for regulated roles
- Managing leave, sickness absence, Poortwachter reintegration processes, and arbo-dienst referrals
- Supporting managers with return-to-work conversations, probation reviews, performance check-ins, and PIPs where needed
- Managing recruitment from screening and interviews through to offers and onboarding
- Overseeing the employee expense process and making sure approvals and policy rules are followed
This role would suit someone who is structured, pragmatic, and comfortable being both operational and advisory.
We’re looking for someone with:
- HR experience in the Netherlands, ideally in a small to mid-sized international company
- Good understanding of Dutch employment law and local HR practices
- Experience with contracts, absence management, reintegration, onboarding, and performance processes
- Strong attention to detail and confidence handling employee documentation
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with managers and employees
- English fluency; Dutch language skills would be a strong plus
- Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, or another regulated environment would be helpful
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be close to the business, own the local HR agenda, and help build a more structured and compliant people operation in a growing international company.
If this sounds like you, we’d be happy to connect.
