Vice President Private Equity – Van Lanschot Kempen

As Vice President Private Equity at Van Lanschot Kempen, you will be part of a driven team of highly experienced investment professionals. You will have broad responsibility, variety, and a steep learning curve. Your role is multidisciplinary, focusing primarily on private equity partnerships and co-investments across Europe and the United States.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on private equity partnerships and co-investments.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and reporting for the Investment Committee, working closely with analysts.
  • Monitor current portfolios.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the private equity ecosystem, developing deep expertise in private equity investing.
  • Strengthen the culture and capabilities of the private equity team by contributing to new fund initiatives, optimizing processes, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Support the execution and evaluation of investment opportunities in line with client objectives and fund strategies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Approximately 6 years of relevant work experience in private equity, investment banking, and/or strategy consulting.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Clear affinity with investing.
  • Good mastery of both Dutch and English, both oral and written.

Benefits

  • A gross monthly salary ranging from €6,000 to €7,500, supplemented by a bonus based on performance and commercial results.
  • Additional flexible budget of 19.47% of your gross salary (13th month, 8% holiday allowance & 7 extra legal leave days). Flexible to use for bike purchase, gym membership, sabbatical, etc.
