Sales Support Representative | Dutch, French & English

Are you a commercially minded professional with fluency in French and Dutch, looking for a varied, international role where you can take ownership of your own workload from day one? We are looking for a Sales Support Representative on behalf of our client, an international specialist in water hygiene and filtration solutions with operations across several European countries.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management and Commercial Administration

• Manage the complete order lifecycle across two markets, from initial receipt through to confirmed dispatch and invoicing
• Prepare and follow up on customer quotations for both markets
• Enter and maintain accurate order data in the ERP system
• Handle invoicing and ensure correct documentation reaches both clients and internal finance
• Monitor order progress and flag any issues around delivery timing, stock availability, or customer specifications

Rental and Filter Exchange Coordination

• Plan and coordinate the field technician schedule for a rental and filter exchange service, ensuring products reach the right sites on the right dates
• Reconcile scanning data submitted by field technicians after site visits, identifying and resolving discrepancies in counts, coverage, or tracking
• Coordinate return logistics of used products from client sites back to the central reconditioning facility
• Serve as the primary back office contact for the field team on service-related questions

Customer and Stakeholder Contact

• Handle incoming customer inquiries by phone and email, primarily on operational and logistical matters
• Liaise regularly with the wider group's headquarters on production scheduling, stock availability, and finance matters
• Maintain communication with the group's production site regarding product supply
• Act as substitute and back up for a colleague in a sister sales office abroad, and vice versa, during absences or peak periods

Support to the Field Sales Team

• Provide day-to-day operational support to two field-based sales colleagues who spend significant time visiting clients
• Respond to customer queries coming through the office while field colleagues are unavailable
• Contribute to an orderly and well-maintained sales administration so the field team can focus on client relationships

Qualifications & Skills

• Professional fluency in Dutch, English, and a minimum B2 level in French, both written and verbal, sufficient for daily contact with clients, colleagues, and suppliers
• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a commercial or communications field
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales support, inside sales, sales administration, or commercial support role, with a solid understanding of the full order-to-invoice cycle
• Demonstrable experience with an ERP or order management system such as SAP or a comparable platform
• Strong organisational discipline and the ability to juggle multiple markets and task types while maintaining accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role's output, including making decisions independently when colleagues are unavailable
• A calm, structured approach when faced with high-pressure periods or irregular administrative situations
• SAP HANA experience is a plus
• Background in a production, manufacturing, or technical wholesale environment is a plus

What We Offer

• Salary range of €2,700 – €3,800 gross per month, depending on experience, excluding 8% holiday allowance
• Commuting cost reimbursement in line with the applicable collective labour agreement
• 20 vacation days per year
• Initial 7-month contract, followed by a permanent contract based on performance
• Fully office-based to start, with 1 day working from home (Friday) available after a settling-in period
• International scope of the role, with regular contact across teams in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany
• Small, close-knit team with short communication lines and real autonomy from an early stage
