Description

As Senior Operations manager Hubs, you are developing and maintaining ReBound’s global supply chain operations network. This role offers the opportunity to manage a critical part of ReBound’s global hub network for returns and contribute to delivering the ultimate sustainable returns experience to our clients worldwide.

Your primary objective is the performance of the global hub network setup to handle and be prepared for growth in the retail and ecommerce returns market. You provide excellent operational knowledge in your focus area, eventually source and onboard new vendors, manage our hub partners and hub operations on performance, and proactively report on this to your manager and stakeholders. You provide excellent operational knowledge in your focus area, lead the development and execution of the warehousing / hub category strategy, lead the management of hubs in an assigned area, and lead a team of hub support professionals. Jointly you deliver ReBound’s operations strategy and hub category strategy with excellence.

Your focus:

• Ensure best-in-class hub solutions by management and development of hub providers in a specific geographical area.
  
• Leading and managing the Hub Operations Support team, ensuring a harmonized way-of-working across the global hubs network, to deliver excellence in day-to-day performance, whilst bringing latest innovation to our portfolio. You report to the VP Global Supply Chain. Work with your manager, peers, and support roles, to maintain and develop the network.
  
• Ensuring sound spend management, analytics, and insights in order to ensure competitive buying with a focus on margin, budgeting and cost control per hub.
  
• Understand the industry, find innovation opportunities, work with your development team on solution design.
  
• Full ownership of selected hubs and hub provider relationship, ensuring day-to-day performance through reporting, monitoring and if needed course correcting performance to meet SLA’s.
  
• Work closely with the hub provider(s) to ensure sufficient data is available to plan capacity and set up the hub for success.
  
• Performance management following a clear supplier relationship management model.
  
• Responsible to develop and maintain contract agreements with suppliers, including the development, documentation, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
  
• Review processes and work with Product and IT on automating wherever possible.
  
• Work with other Operations managers to drive consistency across all suppliers, share best practices, and innovation ideas. Co-develop a continuous improvement plan and roadmap to track and improve productivity and efficiencies.
  
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the team are updating, tracking and informing of issues they see in the network.
  
• Provide proactive support to other department employees, be a team player, help build working relationships with all members of the department and develop levels of expertise that other department employees can utilize and leverage.
  
• Drive and deliver the roadmap for your department. Ensure active and complete participation in organization projects. Participate in training, education, and testing at user acceptance, identify and provide feedback to product owners, identify and support to resolve challenges, and areas of concern prior to go live.
