ph3Job Description – Clinical Expert Orthopaedics /h3 pThe Clinical Expert Orthopaedics provides clinical and technical support for Orthopaedic and Trauma procedures (hip, knee, shoulder, trauma), with a strong focus on Operating Room (OR) support. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pThis role is designed for a hands-on clinical professional with an OR background, capable of supporting surgeons and OR teams in a practical, efficient, and reliable way. /p pThe position is focused on the South-West region of the Netherlands (Rotterdam, Breda, Dordrecht, Zeeland, and surrounding areas). Candidates are expected to be regionally based to ensure optimal customer proximity and responsiveness. /p pCompared to senior profiles, this position is more execution-focused, with growth potential in clinical expertise and customer development. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide intraoperative support during hip and knee procedures /li liPrepare and manage instruments and implants in the OR /li liEnsure smooth case flow and anticipate surgical needs /li liSupport surgeons and OR staff during procedures in a professional and reliable way /li /ul h3Customer Support /h3 ul liBuild relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital stakeholders /li liAct as a clinical contact for product-related questions /li liSupport customer satisfaction through consistent and reliable service /li /ul h3Training Education /h3 ul liAssist in product training for OR staff and customers /li liSupport workshops and basic product introductions /liliDevelop own clinical knowledge to grow toward a more senior expert role /li /ul h3Operational Support /h3 ul liEnsure availability and readiness of instruments and implants /li liSupport case preparation and planning /li liProvide field feedback to internal teams /li /ul h3Compliance Quality /h3 ul liWork in line with company policies and regulatory requirements /li liEnsure compliant and professional behavior in the OR /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 h3Mandatory /h3 ul liOperating Room (OR) background (e.g., scrub nurse, OK‑assistant, physician assistant or similar) /li liExperience in a surgical environment /li liStrong affinity with orthopedic procedures /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience in orthopedics and trauma (hip/knee/Shoulder/ Trauma) /li liFamiliarity with surgical instrumentation /li liFamiliarity with an OR environment /li /ul h3Skills Competencies /h3 ul liHands‑on and practical mindset /li liStrong communication skills in the OR environment /li liReliable, structured, and stress‑resistant /li liEager to learn and develop clinically /li liTeam player with a customer‑focused attitude /li /ul h3Additional Requirements /h3 ul liBased in the South‑West region of the Netherlands (Rotterdam / Breda / Zeeland area preferred) /li liWillingness to travel within the region /li liFlexible working hours (aligned with OR schedules) /li liFluent in Dutch, good command of English /li liIn possession of a drivers license /li /ul h3Success Profile /h3 ul liIs trusted in the OR /li liDelivers consistent and reliable support /li liLearns quickly and builds clinical credibility /li liGrows toward a more senior expert role over time /li /ul h3Required and Preferred Skills /h3 pAccount Management, Collaboration, Compliance Management, Cultural Competence, Customer Centricity, Execution Focus, Healthcare Trends, Issue Escalation, Market Knowledge, Market Research, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Oracle Customer Data Management (CDM), Organizing, Problem Solving, Sales, Sales Training, Solutions Selling, Sustainable Procurement, Vendor Selection. /p h3Base Pay Range /h3 p€55,000.00 - €88,090.00 /p h3Benefits /h3 pIn addition to base pay, we offer an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
