Our client is looking for an Assistant Manager - Global eCommerce & Conversion for a 6-month project + potential extension. You will increase basket penetration and sales across platforms such as Uber Eats, Just Eat and other rapid grocery delivery partners in 35+ markets. This role combines eCommerce, growth marketing, retail media and analytics.

Description

  • Develop and drive the global conversion strategy across rapid grocery delivery (Quick Commerce) partners to increase basket penetration and sales.
  • Identify growth opportunities and conversion levers across platforms such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat and other grocery delivery players.
  • Design, execute and evaluate conversion experiments, promotional campaigns and retail media activations.
  • Optimize digital marketing investments, in-app placements and promotional mechanics to maximize ROI and conversion performance.
  • Analyze market performance and consumer behavior to uncover insights and recommend growth initiatives.
  • Capture and scale best practices by codifying successful initiatives and sharing learnings across global markets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, eCommerce, Commercial and Digital Media to drive execution.
  • Build and engage the global GroceryNow community through knowledge-sharing sessions and capability development.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide recommendations to continuously improve conversion and commercial results.
  • Act as the global subject matter expert for Quick Commerce conversion, supporting markets in achieving growth ambitions.

Profile

  • Immediately available for 40h/week
  • Able to commute to Amsterdam's office for 3 days/week
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, Retail Media, Performance Marketing or a related commercial field.
  • Analytical and commercially driven, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable growth opportunities.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders across global markets.
  • Experience within FMCG, retail, marketplaces, delivery platforms or digital commerce environments is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and excited to work in a highly international and dynamic business.

  • €4000 - €6000 incl. holiday allowance based on 40h and experience
