FunctieomschrijvingSr Thinkwise Engineer – Amsterdam, Netherlands Location: Amsterdam Start: Immediate Duration: 6 months Experience: 6–8 years About the Role We are looking for a Senior Thinkwise Engineer to join its DevOps team and take ownership of maintaining, enhancing, and stabilizing Thinkwise-based enterprise applications. You will work across complex legacy systems, undocumented environments, and multi-vendor landscapes — ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless business operations. This role requires strong technical depth in Thinkwise Software Factory, IAM, integrations, and backend systems, along with leadership capability to mentor engineers and occasionally act as Team Lead. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance Thinkwise applications (fixes, improvements, new logic). Develop and modify business logic using Thinkwise Software Factory models. Manage UI generation/customization for web and Windows interfaces. Analyze and optimize SQL queries, troubleshoot Java APIs/logs, and ensure data accuracy. Support REST API integrations via Indicium and cross-system data flows. Work across retail and supply chain workflows (logistics, pricing, ordering, etc.). Handle incident triage, RCA, and production support using ITSM workflows. Collaborate with business SMEs, SAP teams, AS400 teams, and multiple vendors. Mentor junior engineers and step into Team Lead responsibilities when required. Deliver against ITSM KPIs (SLA, MTTR, incident reduction) and DevSecOps KPIs (DORA metrics).
