Field Sales Engineer Flexim

• Sales Targets and Forecasting

  Own and deliver the budget and target for assigned customer accountsIncrease market share of Flexim products and solutions with targeted competitor displacementForecast and maintain opportunity funnel updating business planning tools (CRM)Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities across the water treatment, utility, infrastructure sectors and all other process industriesBuild long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including contractors, consultants, and end-users to grow loyalty within the existing accounts

• Team Collaboration

  Collaborate with existing instrument sales teams relationships to ensure complete account coverageMaintain sales account and value creation plans to generate new opportunitiesActively collaborate internally and liaise with Product Managers and other BDMs on application knowledge sharing/trainingCollaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure brand positioning and alignment of messaging and needs

• Market and Sales Strategy Execution

  Develop and maintain a solid understanding of available market and businessUnderstand customers own strategy and overall industry trends, legislation drivers and business needsProactively deploy sales growth account plans/initiatives to ensure we are positioned as a preferred supplier across the designated accountsLeverage existing strengths of Flexim (non‑intrusive ultrasonic flow), brand within the water and process industries

• Customer Engagement

  Operate confidently both in the client boardroom or in the field providing hands‑on physical product measurement demos, field tests or surveysMaximize customer facing time with customer visit expectation of days per weekIdentify new contacts and actively engage with existing customers by promoting unique product features and deploying best sales practices, supported by technical knowledge and solution sellingBuild effective account relationships to become the trusted advisor within the water and process industriesUtilize key account management skills to maximize effectiveness and customer facing selling activities to ultimately win business

The ideal candidate will be a proactive customer‑focused individual, who is results driven and a team player. You will have a consistent record in sales and new business development within The Netherlands, demonstrating a strong industry network and a good understanding of flow measurement technologies. Your expertise will help position Emerson’s unique portfolio of products and solutions to influence market direction and secure long‑term success.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of flow measurement principles – ideally with ultrasonic experience
• Background and experience in Developing Business, Product & Solution Sales and Engineering
• Proven track record of consultative direct selling in a BB environment, securing new business with existing customers
• Experience in developing long‑term relationships with external customers
• Flow Metering sales experience or sales experience within the Water industry
• Proactive, flexible and consultative selling experience
