Job description:
As a forklift operator, you are responsible for ensuring that pallets and packages are properly unloaded from the truck, weighed, and brought to the correct location in our warehouse. In addition to unloading trucks, you will handle other internal movements within the warehouse. Once your colleagues have correctly scanned or inspected the packages or pallets, you expertly maneuver the goods into the right truck. Since you take responsibility for your tasks, you remain alert to potential mistakes or needed adjustments to package routes or truck loading processes.
As a forklift operator, you will spend the first 2 to 3 months working on the conveyor belt to gain a full understanding of the process from A to Z. After this period, you’ll step into your role as a forklift operator, taking on this important responsibility.
