Would you like to build the backend platform behind some of the most well-known media brands in the Netherlands?
My client is one of the leading media companies in the Netherlands, reaching millions of users through its websites, apps, audio platforms and video services. They are currently bringing a significant part of their backend development back in-house and are expanding their Backend Services team with several new hires.
You will join the BSD (Backend Services) team, which is responsible for the backend of the Web Experience platform. Together with your colleagues, you will build and maintain services that power multimedia content, including audio, video, video players and news-related functionality across multiple high-traffic platforms.
Your profile:
3+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience with AWS and cloud-native development
Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments (GitLab is a plus)
Strong communication skills and comfortable sharing your opinion in technical discussions
The team works with a modern, fully Serverless AWS environment using Node.js and TypeScript. This a role for someone who enjoys ownership and wants to have a direct impact on both the product and the underlying platform. xnkfpon
