About the Role
As a Senior Offshore Engineer, you will lead and coordinate offshore engineering activities
throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and planning through offshore execution and
project close-out. You will develop safe, practical and efficient engineering solutions for offshore
installation and repair campaigns while working closely with project managers, offshore teams,
vessel operators, subcontractors and clients.
You will play a key role in ensuring engineering readiness, supporting vessel mobilisations and
offshore campaigns, and providing technical expertise during project execution when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead offshore engineering activities across multiple installation and repair projects.
- Develop engineering documentation, method statements, work procedures and risk assessments.
- Design and optimise offshore installation methodologies and execution strategies.
- Coordinate engineering interfaces between project management, offshore operations, vessel crews, subcontractors and clients.
- Support vessel mobilisations and offshore campaigns, providing technical guidance during execution.
- Review technical documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout project execution.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures.
- Coach and support junior engineers while promoting engineering best practices across the team
About You
You are an experienced offshore engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and
collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You combine strong engineering knowledge with a
practical understanding of offshore operations and are comfortable working in an international
project environment.
You will ideally have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, Maritime
- Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in offshore engineering, marine operations, subsea installation or offshore construction projects.
- Experience developing engineering documentation, installation procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of offshore vessels, equipment interfaces and installation methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to coordinate engineering activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and provide offshore support during project execution when required.
