About the Role
Are you a proactive Bachelor or Master student passionate about Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Project Management? We are looking for a driven People & Culture Intern to join our team.
This internship requires a commitment of 32–40 hours per week for a duration of 6–12 months. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic international environment while taking ownership of meaningful HR projects.
In this role, you won't just be handling daily operations; you will take true ownership of major strategic projects, including leading our 1-year Campus Recruitment & Career Fair initiative, building talent pipelines, and enhancing our end-to-end employee experience. If you are eager to apply your academic knowledge to real-world business challenges and make a tangible impact on our organizational culture, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campus Recruitment & Career Fair Projects (Strategic Ownership)
- University Partnership: Initiate contacts with universities/colleges, negotiate event participation, and act as the primary liaison for campus outreach.
- Event Preparation: Plan and organize all required logistics, promotional content, and materials for Career Fairs.
- Execution & Evaluation: Co-execute recruitment events with hiring managers, track performance metrics, and review project outcomes to optimize future campus strategies.
2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Recruitment Operations: Draft and post engaging job descriptions across various recruitment platforms.
- Candidate Screening & Interviews: Review CVs, manage candidate communications, and actively participate in job interviews alongside HR leads and hiring managers.
3. Employee Journey Management
- End-to-End Onboarding: Manage new hire setup, including collecting employee documentation, issuing welcome announcements, coordinating account setups with IT, and conducting orientation sessions.
4. People Engagement & Culture
- Culture Initiatives: Brainstorm, plan, and co-host internal employee engagement events, team-building activities, and workplace culture initiatives.
5. Vendor Coordination & Legal Compliance
- Vendor Relations: Liaise with external HR service providers and vendors to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Contract Administration: Submit contract review requests to the Legal department and follow up on approval workflows.
6. HR Operations & Process Optimization
- Process Improvement: Actively participate in optimizing HR workflows and refining employee engagement strategies.
- Administrative Support: Support day-to-day HR administrative tasks with high accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (HBO or WO) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Project Management & Initiative: Ability to work independently, manage long-term project timelines, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage professionally with external vendors, university partners, and internal leadership.
- Proactive Mindset: Eager to contribute fresh ideas, challenge existing workflows, and take responsibility from day one.
What We Offer
- Real Impact & High Ownership: Direct responsibility for managing end-to-end corporate projects rather than just handling routine tasks.
- Mentorship & Growth: 1-on-1 guidance and regular feedback from experienced HR professionals to support your personal and career development.
- Competitive Compensation: A monthly internship stipend of €600 – €750 (depending on level and hours) plus travel expense reimbursement.
- Flexible Work Environment: An international, open, and friendly work culture with hybrid work options (1–2 days working from home).
