About the role
For an international organisation operating within complex industrial environments, we are looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the modification, optimisation and modernisation of existing automation and control systems.
Working from a technical support and engineering team, you will prepare and develop solutions that are implemented on critical installations worldwide. You will translate technical challenges into practical engineering solutions and contribute to a wide range of upgrade and improvement projects.
Your responsibilities
- Analysing existing control systems and determining the impact of proposed modifications
- Designing and implementing changes within PLC and SCADA environments
- Developing technical solutions for system upgrades, modernisations and functional improvements
- Configuring and maintaining industrial networks and communication systems
What do you bring?
- Experience or strong affinity with industrial automation and control systems
- Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems and industrial software environments
- Understanding of industrial networks, communication protocols and system integration
- Familiarity with industrial PCs, Windows environments, firewalls or cybersecurity principles is advantageous
What do we offer?
- An annual salary of up to €79,000 gross based on a 40-hour work week, depending on experience and expertise
