Report to: CTO
Work Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands (office-based work)
Team Scale: 20–40 cross-functional members covering Product, UX
Business Overview: We develop a global AI-powered smart TV operating system targeting C-end household users worldwide. The platform integrates large-screen audio & video, multimodal global AI, whole-home IoT, and worldwide streaming ecosystems, while supporting customized large-screen solutions for operators across all regions.
Core Responsibilities
1. Global Product Strategy & Roadmap Planning
Develop 1–3 year global product strategy and long-term roadmap for the AIOS platform, aligned with global user growth and multi-region commercialization targets.
Conduct in-depth research on global markets, competitive TV OS products, regional audio-video regulations, data compliance rules and user behavioral differences to build a unified global base with region-specific differentiated features.
Own full P&L of the product line, balancing R&D investment, hardware BOM cost and global revenue, and decompose annual OKRs for each region.
2. End-to-End Global C-End Large-Screen Product Planning (Core)
Take full ownership of planning & design for all consumer-facing layers of the TV system:
1. User Insights & UX System: Establish global user research workflows via qualitative interviews, behavioral analytics and cross-regional A/B testing to identify user pain points and drive full-stack UX optimization. Cover core consumer scenarios including TV launcher, multimodal interaction, universal search, multi-tier user profiles, kids mode and cross-device sync.
2. Full System Feature Design: Lead requirement breakdown, interaction logic and feature hierarchy design for all system modules, as well as release iteration scheduling across media, AI, IoT, applications and system settings.
3. Large-Screen AI Architecture Planning: Design on-device LLMs, AI agents, RAG knowledge base, global personalized recommendation and cross-device voice interaction frameworks.
4. Worldwide Streaming Full-Stack System: Oversee player architecture, multi-standard DRM, live/VOD/FAST channels, CTV programmatic ads, global multi-CDN scheduling and third-party streaming partner integration.
5. Whole-Home IoT Ecosystem: Design cross-brand smart device access, voice control and household automation scenarios.
6. Global Data Metrics Framework: Build dashboards tracking global user activity, watch time, AI feature penetration, commercial conversion and churn risk.
3. Product Delivery & Program Governance
Lead end-to-end delivery of global major version upgrades, brand-new OS 0-to-1 development and operator customized projects.
Implement scaled Agile delivery, coordinating embedded, cloud, hardware ODM and regional marketing teams to roll out synchronized OTA updates across all markets on schedule.
4. Global Ecosystem & Commercial Operations
Engage global streaming copyright holders, regional telecom operators, chipset and ODM manufacturers to establish worldwide frameworks for content partnership, application access and revenue sharing.
Design region-tailored monetization models including membership subscriptions and value-added ad services.
Lead C-level negotiations with top global clients and deliver localized large-screen solutions.
5. Cross-Border Team Leadership
Build cross-cultural global product teams, overseeing recruitment, performance review and talent pipeline development.
Unify global standards for user research, requirement review and post-launch retrospective processes.
Act as official product spokesperson for global industry summits and partner communications.
Job Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
1. 10+ years product experience in smart TV, IPTV or OTT verticals, with minimum 3 years experience as Product Lead/Director managing cross-functional teams of 10+ members.
2. Proven track record of end-to-end global C-end large-screen product lifecycle management, with hands-on experience delivering commercial TV OS (Android TV, RDK, Tizen, webOS or proprietary OS).
3. Mature capabilities in building global user insight systems, designing full-stack large-screen consumer UX and end-to-end system feature planning & implementation.
4. Practical project experience deploying on-device LLMs, AI agents, RAG and multimodal voice interaction on TV large screens.
5. Deep knowledge of mainstream global DRM standards, HbbTV, cross-border data privacy and audio-video compliance regulations; fluent business English, with multi-region overseas operation experience preferred.
Core Competencies
1. Strategic Business Thinking: Able to formulate global product roadmaps with full P&L ownership of product lines.
2. End-to-End C-End Large-Screen Expertise: Capable of defining requirements based on global user insights and delivering top-level UX & feature architecture for complete TV systems.
3. AI System Architecture: Design LLMs and agentic workflows as underlying system capabilities rather than standalone single functions.
4. Technical Literacy: Familiar with streaming protocols, embedded terminals and hardware constraints; able to align efficiently with architecture and algorithm teams.
5. Global Ecosystem & Monetization: Proven track record of partnering with cross-region operators, streaming platforms and hardware vendors, with delivered large-screen commercialization solutions.
6. Cross-Cultural Leadership: Skilled at coordinating multi-country distributed teams, cross-departmental resources and large-scale global projects.
Preferred Qualifications
