What's 'In-store'? - Role Overview
As the Operations Specialist (Customer Fulfillment), you’ll manage a wide range of commercial activities for our direct accounts and business partners. A valued member of the European Supply Chain department, you’ll collaborate and knowledge-share within a diverse, multilingual team and engage with a variety of leading Retail customers.
In this position, you will have the autonomy to work independently on both routine and complex scenarios whilst also engaged cross-functionally to problem solve and steer the business forward. You’ll develop strong process knowledge, use departmental tools confidently, and help onboard and support new team members when needed. Flexibility to adjust working hours, particularly around month-end and quarter-end, is important for success in this role. A strong command of English and Dutch are essential, whilst proficiency in another European language such German or French is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for all commercial activities relating to customer fulfillment and order management:
- Review, validate, process and manage customer orders work using Oracle modules to manage contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work closely with the European Supply Chain team to monitor, prioritize product delivery and any logistic issue.
- Provide contractual, operational, and transactional support directly to our internal and external customers.
- In collaboration with Finance, investigate and resolve billings issues or discrepancies in a professional manner, maintaining customer contact and keeping a documented record.
- Maintain and improve processes, focusing on efficiency, automation, and reducing manual work.
- Support annual budget planning, quarterly forecasting and audits by maintaining accurate, accessible records.
- Contribute to team knowledge by developing expertise with tools and processes and assisting with training of new employees.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in sales support, operations, order fulfillment or equivalent.
- Experience in contract and order management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with SharePoint and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, Dutch, and an additional European language to meet customer and business needs.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently.
