Due to continued growth, Innodisk Europe B.V. is looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer Manager to lead and strengthen our European FAE team.

About the role
As FAE Manager, you will act as both a technical leader and people manager, supporting customers across Europe while guiding and developing the European FAE team. You will be closely involved in technical troubleshooting, product validation, and customer discussions, while also ensuring a high level of service quality and team performance.
This position is office-based in Eindhoven. We believe that close collaboration, teamwork, and direct interaction are key to success, and you will work from our office alongside sales, operations, and management colleagues. Occasional travel within Europe is part of the role.
Key Role Responsibilities
- You will lead the European FAE team and define FAE priorities, support technical strategy in Europe, and act as the main technical leadership interface toward HQ.
- Ensure consistent technical standards, documentation, and best practices across the European FAE team.
- Perform product testing and simulations to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Provide on-site technical support, including customer visits when necessary.
- Conduct in-house product testing to address technical issues encountered in the field.
- Address customer complaints, troubleshoot technical problems, and provide product specifications, fostering a positive customer relationship.
Desired technical skills and experience
- University/HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (FAE, Application Engineer, Technical Support, etc.)
- Prior knowledge in mainboard/GPU solutions as well as storage devices and technologies such as RAID, SSD, DRAM is a plus.
- Ability of writing 8D reports with strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with PC production processes, including RMA / DOA handling
- Familiar with soldering iron skills and schematic reading.
- Experience with Linux OS and C / C++ / Python is preferred.
- Experience in embedded system architecture (X86/ ARM), system porting and Linux based environments.
- Experience with managing and leading a team of technical colleagues
Communication & personal skills
- Good English written and verbal communication skills are mandatory
- Fluent in German or French is a plus
- Good presentation & interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel within the EU when needed
- You live within a range of 50 km from Eindhoven
